Dear Synergists,

Thank you for a month of hard work! We're pleased to see everyone getting along, and all feedback has been taken into consideration. Your assignments for the new month are as follows.

:bulletred: December: Assignments :bulletred:

1. Give your partner at least two critiques by the end of December. Due by December 31st. (Each critique is worth 20 points.)
Critique any new literature posted by your partner, and anything for which your partner requests feedback. If your partner has no more pieces posted in the last year for you to critique, you are exempt from this assignment, and you may earn additional points by leaving critiques in the LLW critique folder. Please leave links to your two (or more) weekly critiques in one comment on this journal every Sunday.

2. Write a present for your partner! (Note: Not necessarily a Christmas present.) Length or subject doesn't matter, just something you think your partner would like to end the year with. Due by December 31st. (35 points)

:bulletgreen: December: Challenges :bulletgreen:

1. Story collaboration: Write a story with your partner. This can be done in any number of ways: taking turns writing the next sentence, paragraph, or plot event; dividing the story into two and taking a chapter each; one person plots the story and the other person writes it; or any which way that is convenient for you. You may use the plot you created in the plotting exercise in week two. Stories must be at least 1000 words in length. Post the link to your story in a link on this journal. Due by December 31st. (50 points)

2. Recommend your favorite book, movie, game, etc. to your partner. Spend at least twenty minutes on what is recommended to you, and write in a comment on this journal what you think about it. Due by December 31st. (15 points)

If you have any questions or comments, please direct them to the Synergy forum. Are you curious about our last summer session? Find our collection of Synergy journals here.

Thank you and happy holidays, everyone!

Also. I was recommended Red Faction: Guerilla by Jchrispole

It is an open world, third person shooter. This was my first time playing any of the Red faction games, as I rarely play third person shooters. However, I actually really enjoyed it. I did find it difficult at first to get the hang of things as I'm used to being in first person for my shooter games, but I found it not too troubling. I also really enjoyed the open world aspect of it, as well as the story and weapon choices. It was a good recommendation!
