“Sixth Sense”

I've got a sixth sense for partiesI've got a sixth sense for parties.
oh be my guest, they said it was an open house.
What's shaking your bones; don't we all want one bash?
Which would be the equivalent, of our sane existence?
hahaha
Oh so appellant you would come, in search of this substance.
Can't you hear I need this, need you, continuously insistent.
Can't you hear the phones? Don't blame me for your hot flash.
You've left empty tones; don't want to wet those eyelashes.
I'm not throwing stones, just come out of your window
Praised by the flashes. Phones and cameras all eyes open.
This is a celebration for you! It's going to be such a trill.

Primal SenseYou know that feeling you get, that feeling that someone or something's watching you but there's no one there? Or maybe you're in a crowd when it hits you, and you happen to turn and find the person staring? Or maybe it's the feeling that something's not quite right? All people are born with it, that sixth sense. It's been with mankind since ancient times, back when humans were easy prey and predators stalked every shadow. Children generally have a stronger sense than adults; a survival mechanism against unseen danger during a time when nighttime was the most dangerous time. Next time you're out at night, an

The Devils' WorkFrom the balcony you stared at the ground before you
The sky was so calmly clear and blue
Your longing to fly burst out and grew
Overcome by a thrill you never before knew
Your mind you now could no longer call yours
Your heart gave in to the invisible force

Experiencing an indescribable ecstasy
She saw the sights of impossible gaiety

Sixth Sense"Don't get put off, Lils, if you don't get any right." I shuffled the deck of Lily's zener cards and lay five out in front of her. "Concentrate on it, and just say what comes to your mind." She looked at the first card and whispered, "Star." I turned it over. It was a star.
I've known Lily for most of my life, but we've only been going out 2 years. I've seen most of her boyfriends that she's had over the years and when they ask her out she always looks at them for a while and then answers them. She's psychic. I've always known, and never cared.
I know everyone has this potential to be psychic if they practice. It's just Lily has always had
This week's writing prompt, from October 22 to October 28, is:
Respond to one of the selected pieces of music:
~[link]: Comptine d'un autre été: l'après midi
~[link]: Dearly Beloved
~[link]: Bohemian Rhapsody
~[link]: Stairway to Heaven
Choose one piece of music and write - what it makes you think of, make it into a story, put it in a story, etc.
There's a choice of four because I figured some people might respond better to an instrumental, and some better to a song with lyrics. And I put two of each because . . . I'm nervous.
So I received lots of positive feedback about the musical prompt, and decided to go ahead with it. It's a somewhat tricky thing to do, picking a normal prompt that I think will inspire a lot of people in different ways. It's even more difficult with music! So to iron things out, if musical prompts are going to be a recurring thing: this musical prompt is not meant to be a shove-music-down-your-throat business. It's not about anybody's favorite music. I'm trying to pick music I think everyone will be able to respond to in creative ways, and I would really appreciate suggestions! If you know a piece of music that you think would work really well as a prompt, please leave a comment with a link. YouTube links are preferable. Hopefully, this'll be a success and we can keep doing this sort of thing. Also, I really like the artwork idea. Definitely going to try that next time.
